Dr Cedric Rodrigues - BSc MSc PhD C Eng MCIBSE
Founder and Principal Consultant
Following a successful career at CMR Consultants both as Founder and Director (1996 to 2013), Cedric established ESS Consultants in 2013, a niche energy and water consultancy advising clients on energy and water reduction strategies and implementation of solutions to address rising energy and water costs whilst reducing environmental impacts.
On the sale of CMR Consultants Limited to ENER-G plc, Cedric was appointed Managing Director of their Energy Management Division from 2007 to 2013.
Previous senior roles include Head of Energy and Environmental Affairs for The General Electric company (GEC) plc reporting to the main board and as an adviser to the UK government’s Energy Efficiency Best Practice Programme.
With a first degree in Mechanical Engineering specialising in thermodynamics, heat and power cycles (chp), a Masters and a PhD in Energy Management, Cedric offers his clients over 40 years international experience in various industry and commercial sectors.
Cedric also has an interest in Watts-On Consultants – a company that has developed a real time online energy performance monitoring software called “watts-on”.
Yvon Le Cann
Principal Consultant
Yvon has over 30 years of engineering experience in the hospitality sector having held Director level positions for Starwood Hotel Group and Radisson Hotel Group working across Europe, Africa and the Middle East (EMEA).
Yvon brings to ESS extensive expertise in MEP engineering; and maintenance operations and has developed systems efficiency assessment tools called Back To Basics (BtB) to assist the hospitality industry to measure; and benchmark performance coupled with practical advice recommendations on how to improve the operational efficiency of their MEP assets whilst delivering a higher level of customer experience.
Anthony Osborne
Senior Consultant
Anthony brings to ESS many years of experience and expertise in energy and utility services.
Following a successful career as Energy Manager at MG Rover Group, Birmingham UK, Anthony joined Dr Cedric Rodrigues at CMR Consultants where developed his consultancy skills in the educational, hospitality, sports and leisure, municipal, industrial and commercial sectors.
His international experience includes projects in Europe, Africa and Middle East (EMEA). Anthony’s specialises in Combined Heat and Power (CHP), utilities engineering and maintenance of water services, compressed air, refrigeration and heating systems.
